I got my honours degree in physiotherapy from King's College London way back in '93 and gained a wealth of experience treating any and every imaginable condition that arrived at the hospital department. I was promoted to Senior Physio' whilst working at St Thomas' Hospital in central London, in 2000, and this is when I discovered what was, at the time, a virtually unheard of hands-on speciality called 'myofascial release.'
Myofascial Release (pronounced My-Oh-Fash-ial Release) There was something about this way of working that just made sense for me. Myofascial Release is gentle, nurturing, listening and I was getting great results, even with clients that had very complex, very delicate or long-standing problems. I was so encouraged by my clients saying how they felt lighter or moved more freely, that I decided to learn as much as I could, and this is pretty much what I've continued to do over the last 20 years
I have spent the intervening couple of decades travelling around the world, training under some of the world's best practitioners of myofascial release therapies and then bringing what I had learned back to the UK, both for the benefit of my clients and so that I could pass on my expertise to other manual-therapy practitioners in the UK. I'm still teaching a few training courses each year, but the time has come to spend much more time with my family and my clients. Since first starting to practise Myofascial Release, I have worked at the Football Association and for some premiership football clubs, I have treated and rehabilitated, actors, dancers, news presenters/journalists, TV personalities, professional horse riders and many, many more. most had never had treatments like mine. This IS different. If you think you know physiotherapy and if you think it won't work for you, think again. With 30 years clinical experience myself, and a level of skill and expertise that has taken me round the world, I doubt that you have a problem that I haven't seen or treated before. And now that I've done all that bragging and marketing stuff... which honestly makes my toes curl (but business people tell me that I have to do it), what is stopping you calling or texting and finding out how I can help you feel good?
